Highly recommend the Flinders 7 day trip. Fabulous trip that enabled us to enjoy the diversity of Flinders Island by land and sea. Guides were great at adapting each day according to the weather to provide us with amazing experiences.

Great fun way to blow away jet lag and see Hobart from a different angle. Good instruction and safety briefing. All round a good experience.

Enjoyed our Kayak tour as it was a perfect day and Kyle our guide was knowledgeable and professional. Unfortunately a 3 hour advertised tour was a smidge over 2 hours. At $130 pp, which included fish and chips on our Kayak while floating which was lovely was a little overpriced for a 2 hour and a bit paddle.

The 8 day SW Tasmania trip - Bathurst Harbor/ Pt Davey) is a logistically difficult trip which was organized very well by Roaring 40s Kayaking. Our guides, Tory and Beano, were very professional, accommodating and personable. Combined with exceptional weather (a majority of days with calm seas, light wind and sunshine) we were able to visit the outer coast of the Breakaway Islands which were spectacular. Importantly, itineraries are able to be varied to cope with wind and seas due to the many alternative sheltered campsites and interesting coast lines. It is not easy to present fresh and tasty meals when kayaking for extended periods but Roaring Forties were able to do this. The baked passion-fruit cake was a standout. The paddling was broken up by several interesting walks and our guides knowledge of local flora and fauna added to our enjoyment. The standard of provided equipment was good (albeit a little worn in some cases as it was end of season). The double Sea-bear Expedition 2 kayaks were well up to the job - huge load carriers and very stable although not exactly exciting to paddle if you are accustomed to single sea kayaks. Overall, a 10 out of 10 trip.

From start to finish this tour was perfect. Kai and Tori made sure everyone was safe and kayak aware. The kayaks and safety gear were all great . The scenery was great and fish and chips at the half way point for lunch were delicious. We would definitely recommend this tour.

Best day! It was beautiful and we were really well looked after. It was very professional, we were kept warm, fed well, given breaks and shown one of the most beautiful places in the world. I will do it again! I loved seeing the seals.

Thanks Beano for a wonderful morning paddle. Highly recommended. It was an added bonus to see the Sydney to Habart yachts and a random seal. Beano was a really good guide and lots of fun.

What a great 2.5 hour activity! We had Beano for our guide...he is fabulous! He gave us easy to understand instructions, he was patient with us, and kept us safe navigating around the harbor. The fish 'n chips lunch is to die for. We had so much fun!! Thank you Beano!
