We don’t just take you to the volcano—we also visit the evacuated town of Grindavík, the colorful geothermal area of Seltún, and the mysterious lake Kleifarvatn.

We did the Fagradalsfjall Volcano tour with Gudni. He is an amazing guide who not only told us about the volcanos and geo thermal areas we toured but really taught us a lot about Icelandic culture. It was a very cool tour.

Our guide, Silgrún, was wonderful…friendly, knowledgeable & fun…we learned a lot! We also got a LOT of steps in (~6 hours, ~4.5 miles). The massive scale of the lava field is difficult to describe, as is the wide variety of different lava types all over.
