1.Choose the Kanji character you want to write. (5mins) It could be a kanji that represents your memories of Japan, or a message you’d like to express to someone special as a gift. 2. Learn about calligraphy styles and brush strokes. (30mins) -The sample sheet includes five different styles. Using this as a guide, the calligrapher will explain the unique features of each style. -Guests will start practicing their writing with a brush pen. -Some tips for the secret brush grip. -We also provide examples of more free and artistic approaches—perfect for unlocking your creativity! -For guests who want to explore more expressive techniques or discover new styles, the calligrapher will give advice and help you choose additional tools. 3.Create your label. (15mins) Once your kanji, style, and expression are set and practiced, it’s time for the final step. -Write directly on the label sheet. -Stamp it with a traditional tenkoku seal. -Add the finishing touches with drawings, or the date to personalize your label. 4. Apply the label to your bottle and complete your work! (5mins) -At last, you’ll have a one-of-a-kind sake bottle with your very own hand-made Japanese calligraphy label!
