Learn practical skills you can use at home, including how to shape sushi, make dashi, cook rolled omelets, and prepare Jibuni, a Kanazawa specialty. You’ll also gain insights into the cultural background of each dish.

We use fresh, seasonal ingredients, including premium fish from Omicho Market—also supplied to Michelin-starred restaurants.

Real-time AI translation via a 65-inch screen ensures smooth communication in English.

Note: Vegan diets and those avoiding fish-based dashi cannot be accommodated. Please inform us of any other dietary needs at booking—same-day changes are not accepted.

This was a fun and educational experience. You get to play Japanese Chef for a few hours. The kitchen was beautiful and modern. The chef-instructor was a delightful young man who was funny, energetic, knowledgeable, and patient with slow learners. We learned how to make everything from miso soup to sushi and “jibuni.” I highly recommend it if you like to cook and like Japanese cuisine.

Amazing experience. Husband and wife team were very nice and welcoming. Learned how to make few different dishes. Nothing too challenging, more for fun than a formal cooking class.
