Very enjoyable market tour and cooking class led by Na Young Kim. She showed my wife and me her favorite vendors in the Mangwon Market. After that we learned Korean cooking techinques as we prepared a multi-course lunch in her apartment. All the food was very tasty. A great way to spend a few hours in Seoul.

Great moment! Jinsil is a great host. The meal we prepared were great and Jinsil gave us good tips on how to recreate them afterwards. I didn't see the time flies by. The access to the kitchen is also very easy and convenient. The building is directly adjacent to a subway exit.

This was an incredible experience! After meeting Na young at the subway exit, we walked to a nearby market to sample local street food and purchase fresh vegetables for the cooking we would do later. Next we walked to our host’s home to start our culinarily segment of the day. When we arrived at the house, we began preparing the vegetables Na young just bought for kimchi. As we helped prepare soup and the main dish beef bulgogi, we conversed about our plans in Korea and Na young’s future restaurant plans. The food was delicious and the company was easy and enjoyable to talk to. Afterwards Na young and her lovely dog Luna walked us back to where we started this excellent adventure. Highly recommended.

We spent the day with Steven and had so much fun. By doing this tour we saw many places we would have been unable to go on our own.The food was fantastic. Steven made the tour great he told us lots of things about the food, Korea in general and just general interesting and funny stories. From the first moments of meeting Steven we were all really comfortable so the day felt like going out with a friend rather than a tour. A very memorable day in Korea for us. Thanks so much Steven.

I chopped, I mixed, I stirred, I learned firsthand how to make the dishes I had asked Jessie about. She was wonderful, explaining the techniques and ingredients. My husband who listened and talked with Jessie while I chopped with Jessie's mother and I thoroughly enjoyed the cooking class and Jessie's hospitality. Jessie spoke English well and is a great cooking teacher. It was a delightful and educational experience.
