The setting is absolutely beautiful and tucked into a vibrant part of old Kyoto. The English translations were very helpful and we were able to ask all of our questions about the culture around tea ceremonies. This is definitely a slower pace, perhaps even “nerdy” activity, but great if you are interested in tea or a window into Japanese culture.
