Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine
Fushimi Inari is one of Kyoto's most iconic Shinto shrines, known for its thousands of vibrant red torii gates that form scenic pathways up the forested Mount Inari. Dedicated to Inari, the god of rice and prosperity, the shrine dates back to 711 AD.
Hanamikoji Street
Hanami-koji is a famous street in Kyoto's Gion district where you may have the chance to encounter geisha and maiko. Known for its traditional teahouses, historic ambiance, and wooden machiya houses, it offers a glimpse into Kyoto's elegant past and geisha culture.

5.00A lovely and informative tour! Mariko knew so much about Kyoto and the sites we visited, answered our numerous questions and took the time to ensure we understood how to approach temples and shrines respectfully. This tour will be a vacation highlight for sure!

5.00After our wonderful morning tour with IKKI, we decided to join OTAKU hopper’s night tour as well — and it was absolutely the right choice. Experiencing Kyoto after sunset offered a completely different kind of beauty, with softly lit temples and quiet streets creating a magical atmosphere. The tour was perfectly organized, allowing us to enjoy famous spots without the crowds. Knowing we were in such caring and capable hands made the evening even more special.

5.00Great tour guiding by Yui! Beautiful sites, great pacing, fun facts, and cover lots of ground. This tour is a great value. You see a lot if only in Kyoto briefly or use it as an entry point to get your bearings upon arrival. Highly recommended.
