5.00Ryu was our guide and he is very well versed on the history and culture of the sites we visited. Lots of walking and some transfers on the rail but he took care of all that. Very willing and able photographer on the side. Thank you , Ryu for the wonderful photos. We booked the 9am and it was very busy. Best if you get to these places around 6 am and after 6 pm.

5.00We were unfortunately running late but the team and our guide Liu waited for us and provided a magnificent experience. Liu had studied Kyoto literature, history and culture and was not only a wealth of knowledge at all stages of our tour, but a wonderful example of Kyoto’s famous Omotenashi. Liu provided insights into local customs, historical moments and the multiple religious beliefs (not to mention advising on the best coffee shops!) - we could not rate him and the tour more highly. Domo arigatogazaimasu!!
