Chateau de Chambord
Your first stop is the Château de Chambord, one of the most beautiful examples of French Renaissance architecture. Built for King François I between 1519 and 1547, it’s the largest château in the Loire Valley. The designer is still a mystery—some even say Leonardo da Vinci may have helped—making this castle even more fascinating to explore.
