The museum is great, crowded, a bit hot in summer, but interesting artifacts. The children packets were done well. The Viator ticketing process was confusing. It’s a bit hard to follow the path to the tickets. You think you are being sent them, but the original email and app wont have them right away. You need to wait until an actual ticket is sent. In the mess of crowds and the British Museum staff yelling at you about the tickets being incorrect it can be stressful with kids. The ticket will be an actual QR coded ticket not the email or pdf saying voucher.

The museum has free entry and the audio guide provided is actually access to a google drive folder with audio files. I cannot opine on the quality of the audios because I haven’t heard any, but I am very dissatisfied with the fact that it was not provided with an audio device, which was what I needed. If you buy quick in the line you don’t read all the fine print and their mentioning in the fine print is what they are basing themselves to deny any refund. Not the kind of customer service a company should strive to provide.

They should know that cell phones don’t always work in The British Museum. Mine didn’t work. And it is free to enter, so the money I spent was wasted.

Never received our vouchers for the tickets so never toured the museum. Was verbally abused by the security employee but he abused everybody in line. See the complaint I wrote about getting a refund for tickets which were never recieved
