Great views of the Christmas lights especially the ones across Oxford St and Regent St. Though it wasn’t raining for our trip the seats were very wet when we got on the bus and could have been wiped by the staff. The commentary was a little too quiet in the noisier traffic but the content was good. The Canadian tour guide Gerrand was excellent.

Just finished doing a tour with the fabulous guide James. It may have been damp and drizzly but I honestly forgot about that. Loads of great info about the city and well worth the money even in the rain. Lights absolutely stunning. Lots of great photo opportunities. 2nd year in a row we have done this and is now a Christmas tradition. Thank you!

Great tour guide Irene & Driver Ricardo. Lots of interesting facts about the xmas lights we saw as well as the usual point of interest. With some "dad jokes" to keep us entertained. Shame about the rain. I think it would have been more enjoyable had we been able to sit upstairs. We ended up sitting downstairs as there was space to stay dry.

Organised chaos is the best way to describe this. We understand that traffic can delay the buses but despite being told to turn up early, we left 40 minutes after the start time of the booked tour and I’m not even sure it was the scheduled bus we should’ve been on. The queues to board the bus were badly managed and whilst the staff did their best to separate the queues, the delays and the very large number of people queuing made it a challenge for them. In addition, the upper and lower deck tickets weren’t monitored and so people just piled on the top deck and those booked on the bus at the same time as us, were left behind when we couldn’t fit everyone on. Given that the temperature was 7 degrees outside, standing out in the cold for a long time during this chaos, wasn’t fun like it should’ve been. The lights were pretty, but the views were often blocked by other passengers standing up to take photos. Overall, the bad experience far outweighed the good.

We booked upper deck for 3 people and as it’s not assigned seating we couldn’t all sit together. When we asked if we could somehow sit together the member of staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. The tour guide, although a lovely girl, was not prepared enough to speak. She had to keep referring back to her notes, lost her place, didn’t complete information or facts, and it was very disjointed and hard to follow. Other passengers were not told not to stand up so a lot of time we were pushed passed, bumped into, trodden on and blocked from seeing certain buildings or attractions. There was no Christmas music and it wasn’t festive at all. We drove passed another similar tour and they seemed to be having a much more festive experience. Due to Christmas and extremely heavy traffic the tour took 2 hours to complete so prepare for that. I wouldn’t say that it’s the greatest value for money considering our personal experience. We believe it would be better in future if groups could book their seats like on an airplane so we could all sit together. I think couples would be ok but any more than 2 it’s just not worth it as a social experience as you aren’t guaranteed to sit together currently. Won’t be booking again.

Well, the buses were all running late. The waiting area on the pavement was chaotic queues. We booked for 6.30 but on arrival at 6.20 there were people still waiting to get the 6pm bus. 2 buses turned up. The queue took up the 2 buses and we were still left waiting. After a loooong wait another bus appeared and then the tour guide and driver started rowing, other customers had to calm them down so we could be let on. The driver started moving off before everyone was seated including children on the stairs. The guide had to demand over the mic for him to stop. The guide all in all was very knowledgeable and friendly as he filled the gaps of the constant traffic jams. Didn't see a huge amount of lights mainly Oxford street and Regents street. On a previous tour we went on a much better route. I wouldn't recommend this. In fact we have decided that is the last time we do London at Christmas, we couldn't wait to go home.

Expensive for the experience- better off walking to see the Christmas lights- terrible commentary and the driver had to keep asking where he was going. Check in staff gave mixed messages, so we missed seats under cover (it was raining)… Uk weather doesn’t always help.
