Changing of the Guard
At one of our first stops, Buckingham Palace, we will watch a traditional ceremony that is the epitome of British pomp and pageantry. During the ceremony, guards from the New Guard of the Household Division arrive to assume responsibility for protecting Buckingham Palace. Accompanied by a regimental marching band, these soldiers are instantly recognizable in their bearskin caps and scarlet tunics. Don't let the bearskin hats fool you - these soldiers are elite soldiers from the British military!

This was the worst tour I’ve ever experienced. Multiple tours were crammed onto the same bus, tickets were mixed up, and people were literally left behind. Our guide, David, was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. He rushed ahead constantly, saying, “If I waited for everyone, we’d miss the changing of the guards.” That’s the exact opposite of what a guide should do! There was no organization, no clear meeting points, and no concern for whether guests could keep up. To make it worse, the tour used public transit stops already overflowing with commuters, making everything chaotic. When I tried to contact the vendor through the Viator app and by email, I received no reply at all. If I could give zero stars, I would. Save yourself the money, the stress, and the disappointment—public transit will get you to the same places far more easily, and for a fraction of the cost. Do not book this tour. Live and learn.

Sitting in quite a bit of traffic around London. Access to church and tower was nice, however no guided tour in tower (which we felt would have been a value add). Our tour guide was nice, but not very engaging. While sitting in traffic, it would have been nice to hear more history or stories to occupy time. We use Viator quite a bit and was disappointed with this tour.

Our guide Sheila and driver Idris were awesome. She was knowledgeable, clear in her instructions and had a good sense of humolots of lonr. The crowds and traffic in late August early September are hellacious, esp later in the day. We saw a LOT of london.

A very enjoyable all-day trip with an amazing guide Ruth. Her knowledge of history and all the anecdotal information was both entertaining and informative.
