I bought two adult tickets online three days before an entry time to the Louvre in Paris. We came the morning of and lined up only to find out that our tickets and all online purchases through Viator had been cancelled for today. With no notification to us. I spoke to customer service who was not helpful at all.

Tickets were great once we got them but we had to reach out multiple times after booking to obtain. Got them very close to our entry time and needed to engage Viator for help.

By my mistake I purchased a tour to Louvre for July 12 instead of July 13. I didn't realize until last minute so I couldn't change or get a refund.so I'm out $100. My mistake ok. So I rebook for the next day, July 13, but never received my tickets. Right up until the tour time o was chatting with Viator on WhatsApp. They couldn't get ahold of the tour operator to send me my tickets. So hopefully I will get a refund for these tickets otherwise I will be out $250 and no chance to see the louvre this trip. Highly recommend buying louvre tickets directly from Louvre website and skip the middlemen in this case. Doesn't help at all and more expensive. Highly annoyed with this whole situation.

The Louvre was great. The only thing to realize is that there was not a lot of communication once we bought the tickets and only received them about 15 minutes before our scheduled entrance time. If you contact the tour operator through WhatsApp they respond right away. The initial confirmation email is NOT your ticket. They will be sent later to your email.
