Louvre Museum

Skip the line and head inside the Louvre for a carefully curated tour that highlights the most iconic works in its impressive collection. You won't worry about getting lost as your guide leads you to world-famous artwork including da Vinci's Mona Lisa, Michelangelo's Slaves, and the Winged Victory of Samothrace. As you walk between the galleries, your guide brings the collection to life with fascinating tales of artists like Canova, Géricault, Delacroix, and David. You'll also dive into the history of the palatial building itself, admiring its opulent stonework and intricate frescoes and learning of the royal dramas that once played out in these rooms. At 3 PM, 3:30 PM, and 6 PM only: Step into the Louvre right before closing time to enjoy an extended (3-hour) visit in relative tranquility after the crowds have cleared out.

    The Louvre is a chaotic place. The number of visitors that pass through is incredible, and most are more focused on taking selfies than appreciating the art and history that the Louvre has to offer. Our guide, on the other hand, was exceptional. She made the visit even more extraordinary, helping us navigate bathroom breaks and ensuring we understood the rich history of the Louvre, which dates back to the earliest days of Paris. She accommodated my wife's mobility issues well and even recommended we request a wheelchair at the security entrance. I highly recommend this experience for anyone visiting Paris and the Louvre. Don't try to do it on your own!
