The Maggie Beer Farm / Barossa Valley Regional Tour is truly unique for its rich blend of gourmet, artistic, and sensory experiences that go beyond typical wine tours.
Alongside visiting Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop—where guests can sample iconic products like Verjuice and Vino Cotto—the tour includes stops at Barossa Cheese Company for handcrafted cheese tastings, and the Barossa Chocolate Factory, where wine and artisan chocolate pairings delight the palate.
The tour adds depth with gourmet wine tastings at premium venues such as Penfolds, Seppeltsfield, and the intimate Rusden Wines, complete with personal storytelling and boutique ambiance.
At Jam Factory at Seppeltsfield, guests experience the region’s creative side, watching skilled artisans craft ceramics, glassware, and more.

Whispering Wall
The Whispering Wall is in fact the retaining wall of the Barossa Reservoir. Built between 1899 and 1903, the dam was a revolutionary engineering feat for its day and attracted attention from all over the world, even making its way into the pages of the journal Scientific American. But what draws visitors to the Whispering Wall is its unique acoustic effects: words whispered at one side can be clearly heard at the other, more than 100 metres away. Children in particular love visiting the wall and testing its abilities. Besides trying out the Whispering Wall, visitors can also learn about the history of the construction of the dam, take in the scenery of the water reserve and enjoy the colours and sounds of the peaceful bush setting.
Nestled in the heart of Tanunda, the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company offers a delightful experience for chocolate enthusiasts and families alike. Visitors can observe skilled chocolatiers crafting over 250 handmade treats, including honeycomb, peanut brittle, and fudge, all enrobed in premium Belgian chocolate. The self-guided Wine & Chocolate Pairing experience allows guests to savour five unique chocolates—White, Milk, Ruby, Dark 56%, and Dark 70%—paired with five perfectly matched Vineyard Road wines. For a hands-on activity, the "Make Your Own Rocky Road" workshop lets participants create a personalized 250g slab with up to five inclusions like house-made honeycomb or peanut brittle. The on-site café serves a diverse menu featuring locally sourced produce and overlooks a serene water feature, providing a relaxing dining atmosphere. The Barossa Valley Chocolate Company is a must-visit destination for those seeking a sweet adventure in South Australia.
