Very little information provided. Tour was an hour and fifteen minutes and I think we stopped about 10 times to have a house, fountain or artwork explained. For 32 euros a person, I was expecting more background on the area, something with more substance. Have done a lot of walking tours in various cities for far less money and have come away from those knowing so much about the city/area.

Tetiana was an excellent and very knowledgeable guide. The tour was very interesting, and my 15-year old son enjoyed it very much.

David was a congenial host and an excellent raconteur. As we walked we got an interesting discussion about Montmatre’s history and place in the history of art. The climb to Sacré Coeur is steep but worth it for the view. We were lucky that the day was sunny but cool.

Slow, roundabout pace avoiding steep climbs. Scenic and historic stopping points of several artists’ lives in Montmartre. Our guide Candace was humorous, knowledgeable, and patient. Easy to find starting point and popular landmark for the ending point. This guided tour is a good introduction to the area but not necessarily an in depth, detailed experience.
