This round-trip, full-day excursion includes simple pickup and drop-off at your hotel or another hotel location. To fully enjoy this excursion, you have 7 - 9 hours to fully immerse yourself in the region's natural beauty and cultural treasures.

An extra hourly fee will be charged if your tour lasts longer than expected:

¥7,000 per hour for a van

¥14,000 per hour for a minibus

Note: Pickups from Yokohama require an additional charge of ¥5,000 for a van or ¥10,000 for a minibus .

What To Expect

Hakone Ropeway

The observation platform offers breathtaking views of ‘Owakudani’, Hakone’s most famous tourist spot. Desolate mountainside covered by plumes of smoke produce a distinct scene so fitting the area’s former name of Hell Valley. Now, the Hakone Ropeway rising above Owakudani. There are also many scenic spots to be seen from the ropeway. Traveling from Sounzan to Owakudani, passengers can see the bottom of the valley below, and, when on route to Togendai, they can enjoy views of Mt. Fuji and Lake Ashi.

The Hakone Open-Air Museum

The Hakone Open-Air Museum is a unique and captivating art space that blends stunning modern sculpture with the natural beauty of the Hakone mountains. As Japan's first open-air museum, it features a sprawling 70,000-square-meter park where visitors can wander through a collection of over 100 masterpieces by renowned sculptors, including Henry Moore and Rodin. We had a wonderful time on this tour exploring around Mt Fuji. Our tour guide Qasim was very nice, made great suggestions, captured beautiful pictures for us and was so accommodating. We got to see breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji, all with peace of mind and ease, which was so priceless.

We found Mr. Ali by searching on the internet before going on the Mount Fuji tour. We were very pleased with him. He is a master of all the regions he takes us to, and knows the history of the places he visits. His car is clean, he is a polite and respectful person. He accompanies you to all the places he visits if you wish.

We had the pleasure of having Attary as our guide for today. The tour was amazing! He was very knowledgeable about all the sights that we visited and his great communication made planning a breeze. Additionally, the Toyota Vellfire was clean, comfortable and spacious and Attary was very punctual with our pickup. We had a great time and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a Mt. Fuji day excursion.

Mt Fuji is a super iconic symbol of japan so spending a day at Fuji-san and the surrounding areas was super important to us. Our tour guide, Attary, was super knowledgeable despite only having lived in japan for a short time. You could tell he has done his homework. He was able to share the history of shrines, fun facts about Mt. Fuji, and gave us good recommendations about how we should spend our time. It was a good mix of showing us around and giving us time to explore on our own. We had a very memorable experience!

Excellent tour on the Fuji mountain day tour with our driver and guide Attary. We booked the tour the day before through Viator. Every was seamless. Attary was on time for both pick and drop off at our hotel. He is knowledgeable, patient and pleasant to travel with. He explained the itinerary on the go and gave us good suggestions for the trip. I would highly recommend this tour to see Mount Fuji and surrounding areas!!

Attary was a lovely guide/driver- prompt, and kept us on schedule without making us feel rushed.
