Mount Fuji is a symbol of Japan. The mountain contributes to Japan's physical, cultural, and spiritual geography. Mount Fuji is the tallest mountain in Japan, standing at 3,776 meters (12,380 feet). The proud owner of Mt Fuji's peak isn't a person – it is actually part of Sengen Grand Shrine. Mount Fuji is a composite cone, or stratovolcano. Mt. Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station
The highest peak of Mt Fuji (2200m) that is accessible by car, interesting for the hikers. This is the closest point to view the top of Mt fuji. You can have a splendor view of the city from the view points. P.S The station is reached by the Fuji Subaru Line, a scenic toll road up Mount Fuji's lower northern slopes, that begins in Fujikawaguchiko Town. The toll road costs 2100 yen and may temporarily get partially closed in winter in times of heavy snow. Furthermore, the road is closed to private vehicles during most of the climbing season (July 5 to September 10, 2024), during which shuttle buses operate between designated parking lots at the base of the mountain and the 5th station.
Arakurayama Sengen Park
Its a peace memorial park with shinto shrines and as many as 400 stairs leads to exotic and mind blowing view of Mt Fuji at different elevations. Chureito pagoda at the top was build in the memory of soldiers and civilians lost lives in world war I and II, famous for viewing and taking pictures with majestic Mt Fuji from the observatory deck.

We spent an excellent day exploring shrines abd the countryside outside of Tokyo. Our driver, Zayn, was fantastic and adapted to what we wanted. He managed to get us great views of Mt Fuji and made excellent food recommendations as well.
