Meet your guide at the Hotel Keihan Kyoto Grande, the starting point of a full-day journey through three of Japan’s most iconic cities: Nara, Osaka and Kobe. Board the comfortable tour bus and get ready for a day filled with culture, history, and scenic beauty.
Nara Park
Board the bus and enjoy a scenic ride as we journey from Kyoto to the historical city of Nara. ( Travel time to Nara: 1 hour approx.) Visit the impressive Tōdaiji Temple, home to the Great Buddha. Then take a walk through Nara Park, where over 1,000 friendly deer roam freely. You’ll have plenty of time to explore, take photos, interact with the deer, and enjoy a lunch break if desired.

3.00This is 80% a self guided tour. Unlike some reviewers, I liked the stops in this tour (with the exception of the temple in Nara because let’s face it, people go there to see the deers not the temple as there are 549595938348 temples in Japan). I really appreciated all the WhatsApp messages with recommendations and reminders of the meeting times and locations. I thought that part of the tour was very good and well organised. Our tour guide was good but she kept mixing up the places in her explanations which I think it was caused by the fact that she had to give the tour in two languages. Considering that I paid over 100 euros and lunch wasn’t included, I felt it was a bit to steep for what you get and not in par with what you get in other tours.

5.00This was a nice travel day to hit some spots that worked well for our schedule. We traveled with our baby and the driver was super nice about the stroller. Our guide Ele was great - provided really good information and was very nice. Nara was super fun with the deer. The Osaka street was awesome with all the food. I wish we could have gone into the Osaka castle but there wasn't enough time. We could have passed on Kobe because by the end of the trip we were exhausted but maybe that's me with the baby, however I'm not sure if there was another sight to see in Osaka. Per usual on these tours the bus had a bathroom you couldn't use. However, overall, very much recommend!

1.00The meeting spot was confusing. We arrived a few minutes after and the bus had left. There was no one to contact. No responses and no one picked up the phone either. Terrible experience with this tour company.

5.00Heli is very good at her job. She informs us when we are on the bus so not to waste time while at the sight to see. She is friendly and prompt. Kobashi is a good driver making me feel secure that I can sleep on the bus.
