07.15: Pick you up at your place and depart to Ninh Binh. 9.15: Restroom, local coffee at the Rest stop. 10.00: Arrive at Tam Coc, taking bicycle to visit a local farmer’s house. You will be warmly welcomed with tradition tea and candy. Widen knowledge about a typical farmer’s life in Vietnam, about the main business VAC (Garden-Pond-Cage). Besides, you will have a better understanding about worshiping culture of Vietnamese family.12.15: Having lunch 14.00: Check in accommodation. 15.00: Cycling to the one of oldest pagoda named Bich Dong. Then, keep biking to Thung Nham bird sanctuary, while enjoying peaceful life pace a typical countryside along the route. 16.45: Get on the Sampan boat, you will be taken to the center of the bird sanctuary - where more than 40 species of birds with about 50,000 individuals. 17.15: Finish visiting Thung Nham, cycling back to your stay. 18.45: Have dinner.

Hoa Lu temples of the Dinh & Le Dynasties

07.00: Have breakfast at your bungalow with omelet/rice noodle/bread with butter, honey.......and fruits, coffee/tea. 08.00: Cycle to local traditional market which is typical life in Vietnamese Countryside. Afterthat, we keep cycling to Mua Cave to walk up to the top of Lying Dragon Mountain. The panoramic view of whole Ninh Binh province will be shown: city, countryside and the river which you will enjoy the boat trip later. 11.45: Check out and go to the local restaurant for lunch. 13.30: Discover Tam Coc on Sampan boat, enjoy the beauty of caves, limes stone mountain on river – which is called Ha Long on land. 15:30: we say good bye to Tam Coc for departure to Hoa Lu. Arriving at Hoa Lu - the ancient Capital and we visit the temple of the first Emperor of Vietnam. Your guide give you information about history and his life in the 10th century. 16.15: Departure for Hanoi. 18:30: Drop off, end the tour.

    Excellent tour to Ninh Binh! From the get go it was seamless - Hoa and the transfers to and from Hanoi. To meeting with my guide Nam, who was extremely knowledgeable and friendly taking me around the highlights. The itinerary was comprehensive and all very organised. Explored the views from above Mua Cave and the lotus gardens, and then a cycle to and around the pretty Thung Nham Bird Park nature reserve. I really enjoyed being out cycling amongst the beautiful, scenic limestone karsts and rivers most of the trip! Accommodation was basic, but exactly what was needed, with helpful staff and in central location. Another cycle ride on my last day to the pagoda and boat trip down the Ngo Dong river from Tam Coc. All meals were excellent in local restaurants, with dinner in the buzzy vibe in Tam Coc town. Would certainly recommend the tour!

    From the scenery to the food to the tour guides, this was top class!! Our guides also made this such a special tour as it was my partner’s birthday and they organised a cake and really went the extra mile to make his day. We’re blown away with this group and will hold this tour as one special one in our hearts. This was the most beautiful tour and would highly recommend a longer stay in Ninh Binh. Absolutely phenomenal!!

    We had a wonderful time in Ninh Binh with our lovely guide Andy. The tour was a great mix of activities and relaxation. Food, accommodation and entrance fees were all taken care of and it was overall a very smooth experience. Highly recommended!
