1.00Although our guide was very friendly and answered questions, we gained nothing from the walk through the market that we couldn’t have done ourselves. If you are scared of walking through the market and trying samples on your own, maybe this is the tour for you.

5.00I am so happy to join this tour. Our tour guide Matt is very helpful with his knowledge in the Japanese culture and his love of Japanese food. The most fun part is eating all sorts of snacks at the Nishiki market. Lunch is great, nice modern restaurant with traditional Japanese meal set. Matt shares his love of Kyoto with us and good in explaining things we were not familiar with, such as miso and sake!

4.00I learned so much! Our guide was friendly and did a good job to talk to each person on the tour and get to know them a little bit. We were a hard group to wrangle at the market because there were so many things to see. Our guide explained a lot of things, and we stopped at some shops that I probably would’ve passed by on my own. I really enjoyed the tour!
