  • Monte Alban, Tapetes, Alebrijes, Mescal and more with Junior Reyes

It was a perfect day tour. Small group, great guide, and beautiful sights. Junior was very friendly and knowledgeable about Mexican History, weaving, culture and more. We got wonderful presentations from a sweet generational weaving family and a mescal maker. It was all more in depth than I expected and we felt relaxed and unhurried. There was even some time to wander and take in the magnificent Monte Alban.

We had an incredible time and experience with on our Oaxaca Tour with Juan! This was my parents first trip to Oaxaca and our 1st private tour, and from the beginning Juan was very professional, kind, and engaging. We felt very welcomed and ready to explore! Juan was very passionate when explaining Oaxacas culture, tradition, and shared anecdotes that made you really connected to to all the educational history we learned at every stop of the tour. Monte Alban, Alebrijes at Arrazola, El Tule, Teotitlan de Valle, and the Mezcal Tour were amazing! We were in awe at Monte Alban and El Tule, and the intricate artistry and details put into the Alebrijes/ textiles, and ending the tour relaxing with Mezcal and Oaxaca helados. It was a great well rounded trip to explore Oaxaca! Highly recommend this tour with Juan, he is a great guide, enthusiastic about sharing the regions history, and made sure we felt confortable through our the trip. He was extremely patient and helpful with my folks who needed some time getting up and down the pyramids at Monte Alban as well. You will have a meaningful and memorable time booking this tour with Juan, highly recommend to all !

Incredible Tour with a Knowledgeable Guide in Oaxaca! We had an unforgettable experience exploring Oaxaca with Juan! From the moment the tour began, it was clear that he had a deep passion and knowledge of the region’s history, culture, and traditions. Visiting Monte Albán was a highlight—Juan brought the ruins to life with fascinating stories and historical details that we never would have learned on our own. He also took us to other incredible sites, sharing insights on everything from Zapotec civilization to local customs, making the entire experience both educational and engaging. Beyond the history, Juan was friendly, professional, and attentive, ensuring we had a comfortable and enjoyable time throughout the tour. We highly recommend booking with Juan if you want a truly enriching and memorable visit to Oaxaca!

We were looking for a proposal different from all the usual ones, avoiding Hierve El Agua to focus more on the ruins, handicrafts and Mezcal production. We found all this in Trip Tours' proposal, a one-day excursion with a competent, friendly and super helpful guide. I would not hesitate to contact them again for a next excursion, and would recommend them to anyone. A+++ !!!
