I’m your guide from Oslonature, a local who knows this forest like the back of my hand. With deep knowledge of hidden trails and secret spots, I’ll lead you through Norway’s untouched beauty, away from the crowds. This hike takes place in my local forest, and is accompanied by my friendly dog. Together, we’ll explore some of the most scenic and tranquil spots in the area.
In winter, the landscape transforms into a magical winter wonderland. You’ll walk through snow-covered forests, past frozen lakes, and breathe in the crisp winter air. The forest is home to a variety of wildlife, including deer, moose, badgers, martens, squirrels and hares.
We’ll hike on forest trails with uneven terrain and a few hills. The adventure begins with a short 5-minute walk from the train station to the edge of the forest. From there, we start uphill, reaching a scenic viewpoint. After enjoying the view, we descend to a serene lake where we’ll take a relaxing break.

From the meeting point, you’ll walk for about 10 minutes through a traditional Norwegian neighborhood before reaching the forest entrance. Along the way, you’ll see how Norwegians live and pass by a lake. There will also be an opportunity to use the restroom.
We hike up to a viewpoint with panoramic views of the lake, mountains, and all the way to Oslo city and the Oslofjord. It’s a beautiful spot to take photos or simply enjoy the scenery. From there, we continue hiking down to a stunning lake.

I usually dont write reviews but this was to good not to. It was a great experience and the hike was a nice way to start the day. The two guides where the best. I'm not a dog person but Nero and Fauna are very sweet dogs and behaved very well. And on top of all that they (the guides) gave some great recommendations for places to visit during my stay here.

The tour was really nice, the nature is beautiful (even if the weather is not the best) and very calm. The dog is lovely and the guide was very sympathetic - we enjoyed it a lot!

Good communication, well organised! Margarita was a wonderful tour guide! We were a small group so were happily chatting the entire way around. Highlight was waffles looking over the frozen lake!

We had a great time with Ingunn and her dog Nero!! We had a gorgeous winter walk in the snow through the forest to a lake where we had waffles and hot chocolate! Ingunn was so friendly and Nero was adorable trying to carry large sticks throughout the walk!

This was such a wonderful experience walking through the beautiful woodlands. Our guide was lovely and really knowledgeable and interesting. She found a picturesque spot by the breathtaking lake where we shared delicious waffles and coffee. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a route that was both stunning and challenging at times (there was a lot of slippery ice)

Margarita took us on a beautiful hike outside Oslo. We enjoyed the scenery and conversation. Would definitely recommend to see some nature close to the city. We also stopped at a pretty spot for some treats and hot chocolate!

It was such a pleasure to go hiking with Ingunn and her dog Nero. The hike was about moderate difficulty, which I was fine with, we got to see some good views, and who can’t forget the waffles! The only thing was, we were a little rushed for time because we had to catch the train to Oslo to do the food tour as well. I would definitely inquire with Ingunn about the food tour because it gives you the opportunity to walk around Oslo and experience Norwegian cuisine as well. Overall, it was a great vibe and I would gladly do it again!

After arriving to meeting point Ingunn met us with the most charming dog that is Nero. To our suprise it was only my wife and me booked for that tour (great for us). We had absolutely amazing tour through the forest of Norway. Did not expect it to be so breathtakingly stunning as it was. I cannot count the amount of times i muttered "WoW". The highlight had to be sitting lakeside eating delicious homemade waffles and jam with a choice of hot drinks. Or maybe Nero thinking he could carry a 8ft branch through forest. Ingunn was personable and chatty and Nero charming and comical. 100% recommend this tour. It is so picturesque, so many "Windows" screen saver picture opportunities it was the highlight of our trip to Norway.
