  This was such a remarkable tour. I learned about Masters in baking, pastries and chocolate, not to mention some history on the social, cultural and architectural development of Paris. The tastings were unique, delicious, and things I wouldn't know to search out myself. Our guide Etienne, was excellent and knew the San Germain district so very well. Highly recommend this tour.

  Great history of paris and the area that i would never have learned otherwise, Plenty of tastings. It was a bummer some places were closed but etienne made up for it with more choices at other places.

  Great chocolate and pastry tour with Gaspard. It ended up being just the 2 of us and Gaspard. We did the Montmartre version as we wanted to see that part of Paris afterwards. As with other secret food tours we have been on in other cities, we went to places that we would never have found on our own.

  Etienne - the BEST history lesson I’ve ever had!! The explanation of the architecture was equally as exciting and fun. The pastries & chocolate were divine, such a revelation. My 14year old daughter was just as delighted by this Secret Food Tour!

We spent the morning and afternoon on the Paris Secret Food Tours with th guide Etienne: Chocolate & Pastries 🍫🥖 and it was such a fun way to explore the city 🇫🇷 . Here’s a taste of what we tried: 🍩 Popelini filled choux – our favourite stop of the day 🍬 Pierre Hermé macarons – delicate, colourful, and perfectly balanced 🍊 Puyricard calissons – soft almond sweets with a hint of citrus 🍞 Poilâne bakery – classic sourdough and buttery shortbread 🍓 Alléno Rivour – chocolate-covered fruit and vanilla bean 🍯 Maison Le Roux – the creators of the salted-butter caramel, where we tried their signature caramels and fruity pâte de fruits 🍡 .   Our guide Olivia was wonderful! She led us on a great sampling of amazing French desserts and provided fun history for each of the stops. She was very sweet and funny. We had a lovely time.

  Today, we did the Chocolate, Macaron and Pastry Tour . Our guide was Etienne and because there were some cancellations, it ended up as just my wife and I and Etienne. And it was fabulous. We are not new to Paris and what it offers, but today ranked (for us) as our best day ever in Paris. Etienne was terrific. Extremely personable with an encyclopedic knowledge of Paris (its history as well as the food....specifically the pastries and chocolates). We visited some of the most famous shops in the world and tasted things that were other worldly. Our taste buds were bombarded with a huge variety of incredible tastes and after awhile, we could only just shake our heads and thank our good fortune to have signed up for this tour. I highly recommend this tour. It will make your day and your trip. Kudos to Etienne.
