5.00Hugo did a great job walking my family and I through the streets of Montemarte, explaining the history of the city and showing us significant monuments and sites. He was receptive to our questions and helped us better understand the local culture. We particularly enjoyed the beef Bourguigon and the pastries we had at the onset of the tour. The macrons were another key highlight. We thoroughly enjoyed the walking, eating, and conversation with Hugo.

1.00Sadly our guide was a no show and the supplier couldn't find another guide to replace, so we were very disappointed. We texted the supplier when no one showed and he responded immediately. I was very impressed! He stayed in touch with me while looking for his guide or another. He promised to refund immediately and his word was as good as gold. I am a travel agent. Hiccups happen and you can't let it ruin your vacation. Of course we were disappointed, the itinerary and restaurants looked amazing and all the reviews were great. Post COVID it's hard to find good employees. I own a business so I am somewhat sympathetic. Just know that hiccups happen with excursions. Marc sent me a list of all the places we should try in Montmarte so that was nice.
