Experience the breathtaking beauty of Notre Dame Cathedral on this expertly guided tour, situated on the historic Île de la Cité—the heart of Paris. Be among the first to witness the stunning restoration of Notre Dame, one of the world's most celebrated Gothic masterpieces, now more radiant than ever. Embark on an unforgettable journey to the Île de la Cité, the historical heart of Paris. Few visitors realize that this famous island, cradled by the Seine River, is the very birthplace of Paris. Once the site of Lutetia, a muddy settlement of the Parisi tribes, it evolved into the bustling epicentre of one of the world's most beautiful cities. Today, it’s home to some of Paris’s most celebrated landmarks, including the majestic exterior of Notre Dame Cathedral and Sainte-Chapelle.

Absolutely Horrible help service. We took sn UBER to the published start point but never found the Viator contract tour guide. The UBER dropped us off near the place across the river from the Notre Dame cathedral 30 minutes before the start time. We walked around and asked people were the address spot was. We don't speak French but people pointed this way or that. We called the Viator in help line, but they were useless. They gave us a number to call but it didn't work. We called back and asked them to transfer us to the tour guide. They said they coy fo that. We asked if they could call the local tour guide and again I hey said they couldn't. Bottom line was their so called help line was useless. We never found the tour and they refused to give us a refund or credit.

It was a wonderful overview of Ile de Paris and Notre Dame. Our tour guide, Becky, was knowledgeable, funny and an absolute delight to spend the morning with during our tour. It was a moderate amount of walking, though by no means excessive. It was well worth it.
