Experience the breathtaking beauty of Notre Dame Cathedral on this expertly guided tour, situated on the historic Île de la Cité—the heart of Paris. Be among the first to witness the stunning restoration of Notre Dame, one of the world's most celebrated Gothic masterpieces, now more radiant than ever. Embark on an unforgettable journey to the Île de la Cité, the historical heart of Paris. Few visitors realize that this famous island, cradled by the Seine River, is the very birthplace of Paris. Once the site of Lutetia, a muddy settlement of the Parisi tribes, it evolved into the bustling epicentre of one of the world's most beautiful cities. Today, it’s home to some of Paris’s most celebrated landmarks, including the majestic exterior of Notre Dame Cathedral and Sainte-Chapelle.

We didn't have many expectations for this tour so we were very pleased with the experience. Carole was very knowledgeable. We met at the correct spot and it turned out there were only 4 of us total, so we ended up with a semi-private tour. Carole provided lots of information but guides weren't allowed in the Notre Dame. After that the other couple left so we essentially had a private tour. Besides the sites of the tour, Carole gave us excellent information on the cuisine and shopping districts. I couldn't be more pleased!

Carole was friendly and the tour was informative and interesting. Having advance tickets for Notre Dame was important for us. Smooth entry. Rain the whole time made it more challenging for her and the group, but all good.

Excellent tour of the area surrounding Notre-Dame and Sainte-Chapelle, giving great history and background of the entire area. Tour guide (Emma) was excellent and full of knowledge. However, it was a minor disappointment that for the 2 featured sites (Notre-Dame and Sainte-Chapelle), the guid did not actually lead us into either location and provide explanation inside. We were left to explore on our own, recalling what had been said, but it is obviously great to have somebody explaining to you what you’re seeing as you see it.
