The only thing negative is the line waiting for the boat. People pushing and shoving then running onto boat. The rest of the trip was wonderful. We got on at 9:15. Just in time for the Eiffel Tower sparkle at 10.

Taking this your on our first evening in Paris was a wonderful introduction to the main sights along the Seine. We arrived an hour before sunset, waited about 20 minutes for the boat to depart, and enjoyed the gradual change of the evening light. I was surprised how steep the river banks are. You look up at Notre Dame or the Louvre and will not see buildings that are away from the river.

We had a great time on the Seine. It gave us DE ideas of neighborhoods to visit. All right.

It did not go far enough down the Seine to see the Statue of Liberty. We wished there were headsets so the tour commentary could be heard above the screaming children onboard. Otherwise, it was fine.

The walk was better than expected, the view is beautiful, but could be more comfortable, a pity not to see the tower light.
