What To Expect
You like wine? You like cheese? So do we. Ô Chateau has taken the time to put together the most fantastic wine and cheese tasting experience! Ô Chateau’s Wine and Cheese Lunch has become a landmark for any food and wine lover. This experience has been designed as a fun, yet informative way to have lunch in Paris. Instead of going to yet another restaurant, our Wine and Cheese lunch is a great opportunity not only to eat lunch in a unique location but to taste great French products whilst learning about them at the same time! You will taste five different wines, coming from different regions of France, starting off in Champagne and then beyond… all that is required from you is to just sit back and enjoy – Ô Chateau style! Most of the presentation will be focused on wine. Yet, our sommelier will suggest pairings, will explain to you why a certain cheese might work better with a particular wine. While you indulge in two of France’s best delicacies, you will take a tour of France’s main wine regions, learn how Champagne is made, how to read a French wine label, how to pair the wines with food; and have any questions you have answered. Santé et Bon appétit!

5.00We enjoyed a wine and cheese pairing experience with Felicity. She was great at explaining the wine regions of France and each wine that we tasted. We booked this based on a friend’s recommendation and will come back for a different experience next time we are in Paris.

5.00The wine and cheese tasting was amazing. We introduced ourselves and enjoyed a champagne and 4 other wines in the region. The sommelier was excellent too. Being a sweet wine drinker none of wines sampled was a winner for me but the sommelier gave me a separate tasting of a sweeter wine she thought would be good and I did purchase a bottle. I highly recommend this event

5.00This was so much fun, and I highly recommend it! The sommelier was very knowledgeable, and I learned a lot, but most importantly I had fun. I’m a solo traveler and was able to connect with others (including other solo travelers) in this intimate setting. I initially signed up because it was raining in Paris (a great rainy-day go-to), but it’s a “can’t miss” all around.

5.00Our sommelier Jasmine did a good job. She shared her knowledge of the wine and cheese regions of the wine and cheese tasted. Her vibrant personality kept the group engaged and entertained. Personally. I did not care for the wines that were poured that day but the experience was good.

5.00Clement was excellent, his experience and knowledge was truly appreciated and made for a wonderful tasting. I learned a few things so that made it even better about cheeses and pairings. You only get one small glass of each type, there are four; and while the session is fantastic, there was not an opportunity to have a second glass of wine if you didn't like one. I think having an icky choice (orange, sort of the unfiltered), he could see some of us where not drinking it... I would have preferred another glass of the nicer wine. It was overall a WONDERFUL experience, and I would recommend it. Thank you!
