Our guide Luis was good. The visit to the plantation was interesting, the waterfall nothing exceptional and we were disappointed not to visit the volcano which in our opinion was predictable the day before. To date, we are still waiting for the refund of this entry which is very little compared to the price of the excursion. Small downside also for the organization: no response to our messages, late response for the time and place of departure which posed problem to organize us, so well and so that we believed a scam...

We had an amazing day! We started the morning off at Doka coffee plantation, learned a lot about coffee and enjoyed samples of all their coffees. From there we went to the volcano and the lagoon but unfortunately there was too much cloud cover to catch a glimpse of these beauties. The last part of our day at La Paz was absolutely beautiful. There are a bunch of steps to climb but well worth it to see the 5 waterfalls, butterflies, rescued wildlife and enjoy a delicious lunch! Shout out to Abner our driver for 3/4 excursions! He was the best!!!

This was a great tour... Due to tge weather we first went to La Paz waterfall... It was a cloudy morning.... At the Poas there was a moment the clouds openex up nicely to get the best view... We got a Funny guide who made sure we had a complete experience... Beautiful area... Loved it... It was a nice experience...

Very good experience. Our guide (I don't remember the name) was very attentive and friendly, and made the tour quite interactive. I recommend.

This tour was really disappointing and it was obvious our guide was poorly organised. Pickup was on time however it was all downhill from there. We were told first stop would be for a pastry and coffee but the place wasn’t ‘ready for us’ and we were not allowed to buy coffees. We then went to a different place and were told we had 40 minutes to order and eat because we were running behind. We ended up being there for 1.5 hours waiting for another tour group. Then headed to the volcano, where we received very minimal information about all the paths to take to see lake etc. On the way to the waterfall our guide proceeded to give us all the information about the volcano, after we had left so seemed rather pointless. The waterfall was just beside the road and while beautiful we hardly needed a tour to see it. Upon leaving the waterfall I asked if we would be visiting the butterfly garden as per the ticket I was sent, the guide said “no, that’s old information” We were then asked to choose a dish for lunch from a non English menu on the guides phone so we she could pre order lunch for everyone. However that didn’t happen and once we arrived to the restaurant the order was placed and we waited a fair while for our meals. We then visited a coffee plantation for a tour and coffee tasting before heading home. Overall a very disappointing experience. Tickets and your information should be updated to reflect the actual inclusions as we didn’t get a chocolate tasting or visit the butterfly garden. We had plenty of time to do everything easily in the 12 hours if the tour was better organised and managed.

The trip experience was good, the tour guide Jose was excellent. The Poas volcano is worth seeing it. I recommend the tour. I booked the tour from Viator and the tour was organized by Inside Tours Costa Rica. Viator is a good and trusted company but MAKE SURE that Inside Tours Costa Rica IS NOT YOUR TOUR OPERATOR. You can change the company during the booking process. Although the tour bus was passing by from my hotel, they refused to pick me from hotel. They ask me to take taxi and go to another nearby hotel. It was sad, after paying so much for the trip. The entire day I was feeling UNSAFE knowing the fact that the tour operator is not helpful.

It seems that the guides are in a hurry at all times. Yiny is impolite and does not allow to enjoy the trip. I didn't feel the trip was right. 30 minutes on a volcano, 30 minutes on a waterfall.

To check the weather to see whether the vulcano will be visible or not, because if you book a few days in advance that the chances are not good , you would not book that trip! The tour at the coffee farm saved the day, because it was excellent. It is a pity that when taking these tours: La Paz falls or sanctury or Poas that so much time is lost in traffic. Though you have other travelers to chat with it takes the fun out of the visits.or makes the experience less memorable.

For a company that is supposed to be prompt, they arrived 35 minutes late to pick us up. The guide did not meet us until our first stop. Her information about coffee was good. We then went to LaPaz waterfall and stopped on the side of the road for us to take a picture. Then we went to lunch. Then to Poas volcano that was covered in clouds so we couldn’t see anything. We did not go to butterfly farm or chocolate tasting. Trip unfortunately was mostly on the bus. We were in traffic quite a bit. When they arrived so late to pick us up 1 person in our group couldn’t go because she was worried about getting back late and had a commitment. They would not refund even partial payment. I’m sorry but I would not recommend this company.

VERY disappointing!! We were instructed for pick up at 6am, the bus did NOT show until 6:35am. They did NOT take us to the butterfly garden or the chocolate tasting. Stood outside on the street to see the waterfalls. Tour ended 5pm an hour early. No commentary to tell us what we were seeing while on the bus ride. Get an uber and have them show you around
