This excursion is a full day we will travel to the beautiful area of Poás, our bus will travel through mountains and cattle farms until we reach the impressive Poás Volcano.
We will take a short hike to the crater to see its beautiful lagoon, of course considering that its sighting depends on the natural weather conditions of the area.
In the volcano there is a beautiful cafeteria we will give time to buy snacks at the end of the tour in the Volcano.
Then we will visit the Peace Falls a beautiful, 37 meter high waterfall where you will have amazing photos.
Finally, we will visit an authentic Coffee Hacienda, where you can see coffee plantations, know the process and also test coffee and chocolates produced on the estate.
At the end we will travel back to your hotel.

5.00It is a nice tour, the view of the volcano is random, we could see it clearly. The best is the coffee and butterfly tour. They have very good disposition, the farm is very well maintained.

4.00Percy was a very enthusiastic and passionate guide. The tour van got caught in traffic so Percy changed the pick up point and ran a few blocks to pick us up and took us to the van . He made a consscienscious effort to learn our names. Then we went papa valcano we’re he explain some facts and perused up . It was very cloudy at first at the two craters . So he done a clearing dance and finally it cleared enough to see the first crater . Then on to the coffee plantation which was very informative. Lastly the butterfly garden were Percy was very familiar and explained some of their habits .

3.00It was pretty good but the tour guide seemed to be in a hurry the whole time even though we had more than enough time. He even rushed one of the people on to the bus 10 minutes before the pick up time even though they were not ready (he went into the hotel to get them 10 minutes before time to get picked up). We never saw La Paz so not quite sure why it says you do. We saw one waterfall on the side of the road and got out but that was it for waterfalls.

5.00Víctor was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable about history and culture. On the way to Volcán Poás we stopped a restaurant with an absolutely delicious breakfast! We then saw La Paz waterfall and a coffee plantation. I would absolutely recommend this tour to others!

1.00This company along with the Coordinators for this tour are irresponsible, lack professionalism, dishonest in providing customer service and scammers. They did not honor a paid tour after they received correct information from me with confirmed receipt then disappeared with no valid form of accountability of communication. They dont even have a local business building in Costa Rica so that there is no real contact. They wouldn't even respect our effort and time being first time customer and travelers. Poor service do not use them.

5.00This was a such a great experience. Nela was an amazing tour guide. She is extremely passionate about her job and it shows. The experience of witnessing an active volcano and then a beautiful lake 15 minutes away was breathtaking. The coffee learning experience was also very informative on the process of making “ Great Coffee” we learnt a lot . This tour is a must especially if you get Nela to be your guide 🙏🏻😎

5.00Our guide Nela was amazing . She’s very passionate about her job which makes it so much easier to do such an amazing job. The fact that she had to speak English to those who didn’t speak Spanish and then also speak Spanish was twice the job. If you’re going to book this tour which was fascinating , interesting ( especially the active volcano ) and also refreshing , make sure that Nela is going to be your guide .
La Paz was an enriching experience and I recommend it to 100%
