Tour guide was amazing, funny, easy to listen to, and educational, and all around entertaining. Horse back riding was an enjoyable experience, and so was the wine tour and tasting. Met a lovely couple who we enjoyed chatting with and added so much fun to our experience. Food and wine were delicious. Even the driver to the wine tasting and stable was a fun guy to be around. Learned from him cigarette=dart, and the phrase "When you come over, knock with your feet.". Hahahha. (Google it)

Where did I start? What a great tour this was! From the wonderful guide at Pompeii who expertly navigated the crowds through the excavated city, to the fabulous horseback rides through Italian vineyards, ending at a spectacular lunch and wine tasting at a Winery set on Mt Vesuvius, the day was amazing!

An overall amazing day. We truly got to experience 3 bucket list items in a day. We started with a very informative tour of the Pompeii ruins. Next we were driven to a beautiful vineyard for a horse riding tour. I have no horse riding experience and felt safe and comfortable the entire time. I also though it was very helpful having a guide at the end of the trail line up as I was at the end of the group and they were able to give me advise on how to get my horse to stop taking snack breaks. We ended the day a different vineyard to have a wine tasting and meal. The food was delicious and service was great. I would recommend this experience to anyone. Also the team was very helpful and responsive before the tour and even helped provide advice on what train to take from Sorrento to Pompeii.

Our guide was very knowledgeable about the ruins. She kept us out of the crowds for most of the tour. The horseback ride was very nice - the horses knew the trail and were very gentle. The meal was excellent with a taste of the various wines produced on the vineyard. Our drivers were entertaining as they drove us from place to place. Very nice time in Pompeii.

Our guide Daniel was excellent and the entire experience was well-planned and memorable. Four stars rather than five for the following reason. The tour company has a policy that A) you must buy your park tickets (a separate purchase) in advance and have them ready. B) the guide will wait 10 minutes after the meeting time in case you are late but no longer than that. This is a good policy and it was very clearly communicated from the tour company at the time of booking. We arrived on time with our tickets and we were excited to get started. Unfortunately a large group in our tour arrived 15 minutes late. According to the company policy we should not have waited more than 10 minutes for them. What’s worse is that they arrived without park tickets. And so we had to wait another 10-15 minutes for them to stand in line to purchase the tickets. This meant that we lost 20-30 minutes because of this group. The remainder of the tour was definitely somewhat rushed because of this. I think the company should follow their clearly stated, carefully explained and repeatedly emphasized communication that 10 minutes is the most they willl wait before starting the tour.
