In their creative experience, each participant will have the opportunity to paint a tile, choosing from a variety of pre-designed replicas of traditional Porto tiles, while giving free rein to their imagination and inventive/creative spirit.
The piece will be ready for pick-up 2 hours after the end of the workshop. At Domus Arte, we don't just offer an art workshop, we provide a cultural and creative adventure tailored to your preferences.
Program:
- A brief introduction to the history of tiles in Portugal and Porto;
- Tiling techniques/Importance of Majolica;
- Simulation of tile painting to your liking or with a drawing of a traditional Porto tile.
We can customize the experience for groups, including bachelorette parties, making it an unforgettable event for you and your friends. We are pet-friendly, and we invite your furry friends to join in the fun.

5.00Oh my gosh we had the most fun with Daniela!! We were a group of 12 all ages of women and some artistic and some not. She was so helpful and patient! If you are looking for an activity in Porto with someone that loves people and tile art this class if for you! The class did take the full amount of time. If you are a novice crafter choose a simple pattern...the more intricate the harder the trace and the painting. Feel free to experiment with color! I choose a pattern and then used colors I loved and not what was used in my pattern.

She guided us step by step and made the whole process really enjoyable, even for someone with no artistic background. The shop is beautiful and very well organized, with a lovely atmosphere. 5.00Amazing experience in the heart of Porto. Teachers were fantastic hosts. Great vibes and a super fun afternoon. As well as the art of painting tiles, we learnt about history and drank cocktails. What an incredible experience! Many thanks to the whole team 🙏 We also did some shopping, as there are lots of Portuguese handicrafts that we can't find anywhere else. Don’t miss it if you are visiting Portugal!
