Catedral De Sal

Travelers will enter the Zipaquirá Salt Cathedral and walk through the underground tunnels of an old salt mine. During the visit, they will walk through the salt-carved viacrucis stations, observe the world’s largest salt cross and access the ships for principals of the complex. The tour includes the water mirror, museum areas, the replica Chivor emerald mine and many other services included in your ticket

An amazing experience in Zipaquirá. The tour was very well organized from the start, the transportation was punctual and comfortable, and the guide was always attentive and willing to answer all our questions. The visit to Sal Cathedral was simply breathtaking, a unique place full of history, architecture and spirituality. The whole tour was clear, dynamic and very well explained, which made us enjoy the experience even more.

Felipe was a fantastic driver and took me to Sal Cathedral. We had a very pleasant conversation throughout the trip and he was very knowledgeable about the area, telling me many interesting facts during the trip. We stopped at a store to buy admission in advance, which saved us a lot of waiting time in the cathedral line. After the visit to the cathedral, Felipe took me to explore the nearby village center, where there is a beautiful main square and another impressive church. He gave me several recommendations for additional activities to do and places to eat. Throughout the day (and also the day before), communication and organization were excellent, and flexibility with schedules was total. I would definitely do another tour with Felipe in the future.

Felipe was a great driver and tour guide. He was pleasant, very friendly, and gave us great guidance. We ended up hiring him for the day, and it was great. He was patience, gave us recommendations, and we never felt rushed. I highly recommend Felipe. If you want someone you can trust and feel safe with, he is the right person.
