Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang)
Our professional guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Beijing. The guide will warmly greet you and introduce the day's itinerary in detail, answering any initial questions you may have. The private vehicle ensures a comfortable and convenient start to your day. After being picked up, head straight to Tiananmen Square, one of the world's largest public squares and a symbol of modern Chinese history. Here, you can see the Monument to the People's Heroes, a solemn memorial dedicated to the martyrs of the Chinese revolution. Also, see the Great Hall of the People, where important national meetings are held, and the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong (subject to opening hours), housing the embalmed body of Chairman Mao.
Forbidden City-The Palace Museum
Just a short walk from Tiananmen Square, enter the Forbidden City, a vast palace complex that served as the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties for over 500 years. It features numerous palaces, halls, and gardens. The red - painted walls and golden - tiled roofs create a magnificent imperial atmosphere.

5.00We visited Beijing from San Diego, CA, to explore The Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and The Great Wall, and Jack made our trip incredibly smooth and enjoyable. He arranged drivers to pick us up from the train station and handled all of our transportation logistics, which was a huge relief for our family of seven.
