The tour is a product of a very long and detailed research, conducted by a PhD scholar, that was done for the purposes of mobile app Notre Dame Fiat Lux. This research will also be published in the form of a book. Therefore, our guides who partook in this research (most of them) or have prepared the tour from it, are arguably and very likely the foremost experts on Notre Dame in Paris, France, and indeed the world. The tour is a comprehensive view on the cathedral and its many different aspects. We offer a rare synthesis of research, over ten years of guiding experience, and most importantly, honest, deep and ever expanding love for this jewel of Gothic architecture. We feel that Notre Dame is the very pinnacle of Western civilization, and we are eager to explain why that is so. Come share our passion and ever growing interest for this unique monument.

5.00Hannah was extremely knowledgable and told the story of Notre Dame in an intelligent and detailed manner that was very accessible. Honestly, my wife and I just really liked her! She was fun to spend time with and really opened our eyes to a building we thought we knew. We felt like we made a friend. You will not be disappointed!

5.00How wonderful is it when you find out your guide literally “wrote the book” about Notre Dame? Boris is a true scholar in every sense of the word. He is an expert on classical religions, architecture, history, art, literature and politics. He explained what we were seeing with context and meaning and patiently answered our many questions in a way that was both cogent and thought-provoking. We cannot recommend him highly enough.

5.00Isabella was the BEST! The tour was so informative. The history we learned was exactly what we’re looking for from her. To see the Cathedral thru her eyes and the stories of France and Paris. It gave us an appreciation we did not expect to have at the end for this city.

5.00This will sound like a negative review. it is not intended to be but was not what i was expecting. This is an excellent tour 1:1 with the most knowledgable guide I could imagine. Boris was amazing. just amazing. I would highly recommend this if you are interested in the religious, architectural or historical aspects of the site and have good prior knowledge. This does not give you access to areas that you wouldn’t normally get to and does not give extra access that you could not get on a standard tour. I thought it did so was a ‘little’ disappointed. If you are a standard tourist, book a standard tour. if you want uber detail on this magnificent structure. book this

5.00Our guide was very knowledgeable and provided us with a great perspective on the various aspects of the cathedral. The tour of the outside was quite informative and very interesting. The tour of the inside was filled with lots of interesting information as well. We left having learned lots about the architecture of the building both inside and outside. The stained glass in the building is breathtaking.

5.00Mila is a wonderfully personable guide. She is an artist and extremely knowledgeable about her subject matter. I have taken tours of Notre Dame in the past but it was my girlfriend’s first time. Mila pointed out many facts and details I had never noticed on prior tours. She is a treasure of information.
