Our wonderful Kyoto guide recommended this sushi activity, so we decided to join. Not only did we learn how to make sushi and takoyaki, but there was also a lecture on the history of Japanese cuisine that even our young daughter found fascinating. The instructor answered all our questions about Japanese food. We especially recommend this for families with young children!

This activity comes highly recommended. The cooking experience was wonderful, but what truly thrilled me was the rare opportunity to step inside a traditional Japanese house! Furthermore, the activity takes place in central Kyoto! Allowing us to visit famous tourist spots like Gion and Kiyomizu-dera immediately afterward!

If you're looking for a sushi class, this one comes highly recommended! In just two hours, she taught us so much about sushi history and Japanese cuisine. Plus, getting to make takoyaki myself was a rare experience and really fun! We even got mochi ice cream topped with fresh matcha power and sake for dessert. I was completely satisfied!

The instructor was very friendly and explained everything clearly. Making sushi was easier than I expected, and I learned how to roll it properly. Takoyaki was fun to make too – flipping them over in the special pan was a bit tricky at first, but really satisfying once I got the hang of it. It was a delicious and enjoyable experience. I’d definitely recommend this class to anyone interested in Japanese food!

I joined this activity because the tour guide recommended it. HANA's friendly personality made this experience incredibly enjoyable, and the cooking itself was both fun and delicious! (It was my first time eating Wagyu beef, and it literally melted in my mouth!)

I booked this cooking class out of pure curiosity in how Japanese make sushi and wanted to know the difference between the American way of making a sushi 🍣 Hana was great at teaching and was fluent in English making it easy to understand her explanations. Takoyaki was also very delightful. 10/10 experience and food. Would strongly recommend this to everyone
