What To Expect
Our first stop is Skogafoss Waterfall. It is one of the most iconic waterfalls in the country and was even featured in Game of Thrones. His 60m drop will keep you speechless for sure. Your guide will tell you all about the hidden treasure chest behind the waterfall and with some luck, you will be the first one to find it.
Reynisfjara Beach
Now it's time to hit the road again. After a short ride, we stop at Reynisfjara black sand beach. The beach was once rated as one of the 10 most beautiful places in the world and as soon as you put a foot on the beach, you will know why. Basalt columns and the well known Reynisdrangar rock formations await you. Your guide will tell you all the interesting stories and sagas that are connected to this place.

5.00Fabulous tour. Great to take this as a private tour--you can adjust stops and timing based on your interests and the weather, and you can see many more things as a small group. Sara was a wonderful guide and I would recommend her highly.

5.00Happy Holidays was able to customize a simply perfect journey to the south coast. Our guides Otto and Sturmon(sp?) were such great fun for our group of 12. We were so grateful for all the time they spent making us laugh and playing Icelandic music. Otto helped to make sure we captured great photos along the way. I would highly recommend Happy Holidays to anyone traveling to Iceland and the South Coast is a special place worth the ride.

5.00Roberto was absolutely incredible! He gave us an unforgettable tour of the southern portion of Iceland, going above and beyond to make our experience truly special. Not only did he take us to the must-see spots, but he also went out of his way to show us hidden gems that aren’t part of the usual tour. He was fantastic with our two young boys—so patient, kind, and fun—and his great personality made the entire trip such a joy. To top it off, Roberto took us to a wonderful local restaurant that we never would have discovered on our own. We can’t wait to use Roberto again when we return to Iceland in the summertime, and we’ll be recommending him to all our friends and family. Thank you, Roberto, for making our trip magical!

5.00Christopher was a great guide! He took us to the most beautiful places and would stop extra for me to take pictures of things along the way. We luckily had great weather as well which made it even better. Waterfalls, glaciers, and black sand beaches, we aren’t in Kansas anymore! Iceland has truly made it on our list as one of the most beautiful places on earth! I would highly recommend this tour!
