We had an amazing tour with Himena! She brought us to all the neighborhoods we wanted to see, we got a little taste of everything (pun intended). On top of her expansive knowledge of the Japanese history and culture, she was also extremely nice and personable. Highly recommend taking this tour, especially if it’s your first visit to Tokyo.

Awesome experience, a wonderful curated adventure hosted by Himena who is so knowledgeable. Himena is flexible to make sure the experience focuses on the priorities of the group, giving you the best possible value for your time. We enjoyed her company so much, we invited her to join us for a fun sushi lunch. Highly recommend.

Himena communicated with me prior to our arrival in order to plan a walking tour that would appeal to my family of 4 (including 2 teenaged daughters). Our tour was scheduled to kickstart our short stay in Tokyo and our arrival took longer than I originally planned, and then the address I gave Himena wasn’t correct. She still picked us up with a lovely smile and led us through Harajuku and Shinjuku, showing us so many points of interest we would have walked right by on our own. She explained cultural differences and showed us how to visit shrines and use the subway. It was a wonderful introduction to Tokyo, and we are thrilled to have met such a kind guide in Himena!
