Daxi Old Street
Daxi Old Street is one of Taiwan’s most charming and well-preserved historical streets. Known for its beautifully restored Baroque-style facades and traditional Taiwanese architecture, the street offers a nostalgic glimpse into the island’s past, particularly its bustling trade culture during the Japanese colonial era. Visitors can stroll along stone-paved lanes lined with heritage shophouses selling local delicacies, traditional pastries, handmade wooden furniture, and cultural souvenirs.
