Our driver will pick you up at hotel lobby. Take about 1.5 hour’s drive from Beijing City to Huanghuacheng Great Wall and hike on the wall as long as you can. It's one of the most ruined sections of the wall in Beijing. It has become popular with hikers in recent years. This section of the great wall is about 1000 meters long and connecting Juyongguan Pass Great Wall and Badaling Great Wall in the west and Jiankou Great Wall and Mutianuyu Great Wall in the east. Now it is a quite challenge to climb the wall since it is overgrown and treacherous.After the tour, transfer you back to hotel.

What To Expect

Great Wall at Huanghuacheng

The driver will pick you up at your hotel (Driver will put your name on a paper ,waiting for you in hotel lobby, Please look for our driver with your name ).This tour begins with pickup from your central Beijing hotel at a time of your choosing. Traveling by comfortable private vehicle, set out on the around 1.5-hour drive. Upon arrival, your driver will assist with tickets and then leave you to explore independently. Depending on your arrival time, you typically have around three hours at the wall to hike and take photos. Back in Beijing, your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel. The start time is flexible. Please inform us if you want to start other time.

Mr. Guo was very helpful and kind to my friend and I. We went to the Mutianyu Night View destination, and he waited for us until late in the night, and carried our bags for us, walking up the mountains.

Great trip to a more remote and isolated part of the Great Wall. No crowds but it is not for the mobility challenged! Driver was very courteous and nice car ride to the wall.

We arranged an early pick up (5:30am) to get to the Huanghuacheng Great Wall before it got too hot (mid-summer). Our driver, Mr Gao, was at our hotel on time in a comfortable clean air-conditioned car, giving us water and fruit. He was very friendly and looked after us very well. Our experience at the wall could not have been better. Mr Gao walked with us on the bush track to get the steps onto the wall. He then gave us pretty much as long as we wanted to explore (we were there for 3 hours). It was absolutely breathtaking at this time of day, especially in that there was absolutely no one else there - just my friend and I! I can definitely recommend this tour, and going early in the morning.
