I have been involved in the music business, running my own label to being signed as an artist, to managing a rock band. I have experienced many stories that I'd love to pass on!
What to Expect
You won't believe how much musical talent was crammed into one small iconic street! The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Elton John,
Jimi Hendrix, the list goes on and on.
Moving on to the venue that Brian Epstein, manager of the Beatles, took over and put on the legendary Jimi Hendrix one fateful night in 1967!
See Paul McCartneys business headquarters!
British RocknRoll started at this particular coffee bar. Then onwards to
the famous Marquee where all the greats played.

Moving on to where Brian Epstein put on the legendary Jimi Hendrix one fateful night in 1967! Onto Soho square, see where Paul McCartneys business headquarters are. British RocknRoll began at this coffee bar which is just round the corner to arguably the most famous of London music venues, where nearly every major artist has played! Enjoy the spot where John Lennon took part in a famous comedy routine. Stand in the spot where a famous Oasis album cover was taken, then to the studio where David Bowie recorded Ziggy and where the Beatles recorded Hey Jude! For those who want to hear my own personal stories of my involvement in music, we will end the tour in a beautiful old historic pub which has had many famous guests over the years!

Evren was an amazing tour guide. He is very knowledgable of the rock n roll history in London and took us to some amazing spots of history in London's Soho area. If you are into classic rock music, you have to book this tour and if not, you should still book it!

We had a fun and informative walking tour of SoHo’s popular music sites with our engaging guide Evren. We were especially appreciative of the time spent on Denmark Street and Soho Square where we learned a lot. We finished up at a historic pub with shared stories of our musical experiences. Thank you!

We had a wonderful, information filled two hours of walking around Soho with Everen on a Thursday morning. If you like music, this is a great tour. You will learn where to shop for guitars in London, both new and used. You will see buildings that were recording studios as well as various pubs where artists spent time and former apartments. Soho is a vibrant, fun neighborhood and Everen points out many venues for music as well as places for dining. A great way to spend two hours and add to historical music knowledge as well as travel down memory lane.

We liked the tour very, very much. We heard a lot about how great musicians like David Bowie, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, The Stones, Jimmy Hendrix etc etc started in Soho and met each other overthere. Evren is the best guide you can wish for :).

Being an old school heavy rock and metal fan, I decided to go on this tour. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the tour guide, but he really knew his genre of music extremely well. He took me and the other guests to the shops near Tottenham Court Road which sells musical instruments and where some of the famous rock stars practised. Even if your not into this type of music, you will learn quite a lot about this genre. I also told some of the guests about some of the clubs and a pub which sadly no longer exists, which I used to go to when I was a lot younger. One of the places you will be shown is where the Marquee Club in Wardour Street used to be, it will take you by surprise at the amount of famous rock and metal bands that played there. One band that took me by surprise was Def Leppard and I asked the tour guide if this was before or after the drummer had his bad accident. Those who know about this kind of music and the band will know what I'm talking about, I'm not giving anything away here. I hate to end my review on a sad note but when I went on this walking tour, it was five days after Ozzy Osbourne passed away. We must not forget him or Black Sabbath, because without them the heavy metal music genre wouldn't even exist. A lot of the famous heavy metal bands like Metallica and the heavy metal fans owe him and Black Sabbath a debt of gratitude,. Here's to you Ozzy, you will be sadly missed and I hope you rock in peace.

Excellent walking tour with a very knowledgeable and personable guide. It was great to hear about the origins of British rock/pop from someone who was there at the time.

This was something different for us on a Sunday morning. Met Evren in Soho, what a great guy who really knew his stuff. We have come away knowing so much more about a range of groups, including The Beatles, Hendrix and the heady days of music in the 60s and 70s. Our guide really brought things to life and was able to answer lots of our questions. This tour is a 'MUST DO' for anyone visiting London! We finished off with lunch in the Dog and Duck. A great day out!

We had a great time with Evren who was our guide on the rock and roll history tour. His knowledge was outstanding and we saw many cool spots where the best bands stayed, played and made rock and roll history. Highly recommend this tour with Evren.
