Vatican Museums
The Vatican Museums are among the most visited art museums in the world. This massive complex of 24 galleries, or rooms, includes a treasure trove of Renaissance masterpieces and other fascinating collections. It is easy to get overwhelmed by all that there is to see, so it is important to plan ahead. Purchasing a skip the line Vatican Museum ticket in advance allows you to bypass the long lines at the entrance and waltz right into the museums with no waiting. You will still have to go through security checks and show your printed or digital voucher (along with a valid photo ID) at the entrance, but you’ll avoid the lengthy wait time that is a common sight at the museum during peak season.
After journeying through the Vatican Museums’ extraordinary galleries, visitors are led into the magnificent Sistine Chapel—the Pope’s private place of worship and a crowning jewel of Renaissance art. Looking skyward, one encounters Michelangelo’s legendary ceiling, where The Creation of Adam immortalizes the powerful moment of divine connection. On the altar wall, his dramatic fresco The Last Judgement dominates the space, portraying a vivid and emotional vision of the final reckoning. More than just a visual marvel, the Sistine Chapel offers a deeply moving experience—an encounter with the spiritual and artistic brilliance of Michelangelo.

Excessively crowded. Option to see the Bascilica was unavailable and the line to get into St Peter’s Square was intolerable. Very little value for the money. Feel I deserve a refund since the Bascilica option was unavailable.

I would love to give a five star review but there were a few hiccups, mainly because of miscommunication. We arrived for the tour with my grandma who needed a mobility scooter to get around, and were informed we would not be able to do the tour because it would be difficult to keep up with the guide. I mistakenly thought I specified with the tour company ahead of time that she would need a scooter, and they said if I had we could have arranged a private tour guide that would have made things easier. Despite the mix up, the tour company were apologetic and kind, and made special arrangements to get us to the Vatican and into the wheelchair accessible parts of the museum. They also gave us a partial refund for 2 out of 3 people, which was very much appreciated. We did not get a guide for the tour when we did enter and had to pay for audio headsets, and we did not get to see St. Peter’s basilica because we had difficulty navigating the museum on our own with the mobility scooter and wheelchair accessible parts, so it would have been nice to have someone to show us around. I would recommend this company as I think they were honest and accommodating, despite the mix up, and were kind with how they were still able to get us all into the museum. For future reference for anyone looking for mobility access, we learned that most attractions in Rome DO allow mobility scooters and entrance for someone with a mobility scooter or wheelchair is FREE for that person and 1 helper! It can be confusing getting around some of the larger attractions, because some entrances are only handicap accessible and there is just one way out, but Rome is surprisingly much more handicap accessible than I heard it would be.

Very insightful and fully immersive tour. Without the tour, we’d be walking around without a clue of the depth of history and richness of culture around us.
