Unexpected Closures: Sometimes, St. Peter’s Basilica or the Sistine Chapel may close unexpectedly. In this case, we’ll extend your time in the Vatican Museums, but partial refunds aren’t available.
During periods of Sede Vacante, the Sistine Chapel will be closed to the public without prior notice due to the Papal Conclave (election of a new Pope). As this is a decision made by the Vatican, access to the Sistine Chapel is not guaranteed during these times. No refunds or discounts will be issued in the event of such closures.
Restricted Items: Items such as weapons, glass, sharp objects, food, and alcohol aren’t allowed inside for security reasons.
ID Requirements: Your booking name must match your government-issued ID, which is required for entry. Different tickets apply to adults and minors, so please book accurately.
Dress Code: Please ensure your knees and shoulders are covered to enter the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Entry may be denied if you don’t follow this dress code.

Whistle stop tour of the Vatican

4.00This is a very fast paced tour. Easy way to navigate your way around the Vatican. But not great if you want to pause and take photos. The guide was very knowledgeable and personable. But this is really a whistle stop tour. St. Peter’s basilica is amazing you can visit this for free which I did the following morning - get there before 8am for a really peaceful look around even in peak season.

5.00Miss Paula was our guide, and we had a wonderful experience. She knows a lot about Art and History and makes the tour a fascinating experience. She knows how to manage the group's time at each location and is very friendly. The entire Crown Tours group is excellent. Mr. Lorenzo, with whom we took two Golf Car tours around Rome, is also an excellent guide, and all the organizers are very friendly. If you want a 100% safe and enjoyable experience to discover Rome, take your tour with Crown Tours.

5.00Ver hot. There is very little places with AC. Very crowded. Water is scarce, so bring plenty of water. Web site said no back packs or large bags, everyone had a back pack. Skipping the line is a must. Guide was excellent.

He was always available to share his knowledge and added many fun facts that kept even the younger members of our group interested and engaged! After having attended the Wed. Papal General Audience it was a nice reprieve to be in AC rooms! Five stars, high recommend!
