Walking tour that takes you on a guided tour of the major landmarks of Paris, including The Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame, Pont Neuf, The Moulin Rouge. Plus you’ll see the old Latin Quater. All lead by professional tour guides. I have lived in the center of Paris for over 10 years (right next to the Montmarte). I am passionate about—and fascinated by—the history and architecture of the city. My friends and family use me as a human search engine for all things Paris-related. I am proud to live here, and I really enjoy showing off the city to visitors. Being able to tell people Paris facts and figures is great fun. Lots of interaction on this walking excursion will make it more interesting. I've read countless books and attended many talks on Paris—so I have many great stories to share.

We had an amazing guide who hailed from Newcastle. She was very knowledgeable and had a great personality. What let the tour down were two things. Firstly, the meeting point. I can only assume the tour company must own the bakery? Why else would you have large groups meet there to queue up to use a single toilet. Our tour was meant to start at 11am. I think we stood outside waiting for maybe 40 minutes. This was not helped by the fact the other people in our group had not purchased travel passes. Which did seem odd as that is stated as a requirement when you purchase the tour and you get reminded of that at least twice. And the second issue is stopping to buy food. Again, people in the group wandering off for like 20 minutes to buy food. Either start the tour earlier or don't stop for food. Aside from those two issues I would highly recommend it. But we had to end the tour early as it went way over 3 hours and we had other plans.

Gwen are God’s book really clear loud English. He was very friendly and funny. Mostly you just get the highlights up the sites then you could decide if you wanted to go more in depth with each location. It was nice as well because we learned how to use the Metro.

Our tour guide was amazing!!!! She was like a mother hen with our group making sure she thoroughly explained everything about safety and watching us to make sure we all stayed together. She was not a boring guide at all she was so interesting and excited about what she was doing and sharing. She was so kind & she offered to take pictures of us at every location. And these are not just ok photos she whipped out her photographer skills and wowed us all 🤣 we learned so much and enjoyed while we learned! I think the reason it wasn't boring was because she didnt drown you with information it was a great balance. Everyone coming to Paris for the first time should experience this tour. I would post a picture but its not giving me a option on Viator but trust me you'll be impressed. 🤩
