I am passionate about—and fascinated by—the history and architecture of the city. My friends and family use me as a human search engine for all things Paris-related. I am proud to live here, and I really enjoy showing off the city to visitors. Being able to tell people Paris facts and figures is great fun. Lots of interaction on this walking excursion will make it more interesting. I've read countless books and attended many talks on Paris—so I have many great stories to share.

5.00Be prepared for a lot of stairs when using various Metro Lines to travel between the various sites. There seemed to be limited lifts on the Metro and the pace needed to stay on schedule with even a small group is very brisk.

5.00If you want a quick, Cliffnotes version of Paris, this is your tour. If you're coming to Paris for multiple nights, do this trip first. Elena(who speaks excellent English) will get you accustomed to the Paris public transportation system is highly efficient, very clean, and very safe. Your stops are quick and to the point. There's time bathroom breaks at each stop. Elena will then give a 5-7 discussion at each stop. She answers all your questions too. She kept my 12 and 14 year old boys entertained as well. At each stop she took photos using our phones. We walked approximately 10,000 steps with this tour. I highly recommend it.
