The Sognefjord, Norway’s longest and deepest fjord, extends more than 200 km inland to the foot of the Jotunheimen mountains. This area is said to be one of the most beautiful travel destinations in the world.
The Self-guided Sognefjord day tour combines a beautiful boat journey on the Sognefjord, with a spectacular train journey on the Flåm Railway. The trip can be completed in one day or as a longer journey over several days.

3.00Unable to download tickets finally received the morning we were leaving. They were issued wrong- we were leaving Bergen to Oslo but tickets issued leaving Oslo to Bergen. Ticket agent recommended purchasing the last leg in case tickets were close to being sold out. Cost us another $75 each. Flam train broke down shortly after leaving. Took an additional 3 hours and we finally boarded buses to get to Oslo arriving there at 12:45 am in lieu of scheduled 10:30 pm. We understand train breakdowns happen and no one’s fault. We were disappointed to miss the Flam RR experience plus having to pay additional money.

5.00What a wonderful way to experience the beauty of Norway. It was a long day but we’re so glad we did this. The views were amazing and it was very easy to get to each leg of the journey. Highly recommend!

4.00Hi we had a nice trip on the fjord, however it was quite a long trip to Flam via the comfortable ferry. Flam was amazing and sensation views as the weather was sunny for us and we stayed 1 night in the Svengen guesthouse bordering on the Fjord. Sadly the train trip to Oslo was broken up due to previous train being derailed and we had to transfer to VY coaches. We eventually reached Oslo around 7.30pm

4.00The trip was beautiful and a great use of time if you only have one day and wish to travel from Bergen to Oslo. If I had it to do over again and had the time, I would drive, and definitely spend more time along the way.

3.00Views were good but it was too long of a day and very stressful to fight the crowds for a good seat. Definitely get a porter service for you luggage because you will not want to be carrying them for the many ups and downs. For the kind of prices I paid, I was expecting a bit better. Also note that the tour is non refundable, which means even if the weather is bad, you have to do it. We might have both caught a cold afterwards from exhaustion.

3.00The beginning was a little stressful with some confusion about the pick up point. Staff was very helpful and made sure we got to the right spot at the right time! Flam was less than I wanted it to be though. Probably would avoid the hassle and go straight to Oslo via train!

5.00A nice day tour. You will be able to see fjords from the boat and from the train. The train makes a stop near waterfall. It’s just amazing! The tour is well organised as well. You get your tickets by email and the company is always on line. There was a mistake in my ticket. This was sorted in 2 minutes!
