This was one of the best food tours I have ever done. Kato was our fabulous guide. He was warm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Japanese food and culture. His communication before and after the tour was exceptional. We knew exactly where to meet and when, and he answered questions ahead of time. Afterward, he sent us photos and even shared extra recommendations. The food was excellent and truly all-you-can-eat, which is rare for a food tour, especially one with this level of quality. We had takoyaki, dorayaki, and obanyaki, followed by a generous yakiniku dinner and an incredible sushi feast at a local izakaya. Everything was fresh, delicious, and well-paced. The tour also included fun stops at Daiso, Don Quijote, and Miyashita Park, which gave it a nice local feel beyond just the food. We also appreciated seeing some sights and learning about the culture along the way, including spots like Hachiko Square, Shibuya Crossing, and Nonbei Yokocho. This is definitely a pricier food tour, but it is worth every penny. The amount and quality of the food, thoughtful itinerary, and outstanding service made it one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a high quality, memorable evening in Shibuya.

Kato San was easy company - like having beers with a mate. Showed us things we might not have seen otherwise. Introduced us to Daiso Sake!

Not really what I expected. Tour guide was just okay. I don’t feel like the price of this tour was worth it.

This tour was one of the highlights of our Tokyo trip. We lucked out and ended up being the only ones on the tour, which made it feel like a private experience. Our guide, Samir, was kind, informative, and incredibly attentive throughout. He led us through hidden food spots in bustling Shibuya—places we’d never have found on our own. We sampled everything from fresh sushi to Osaka-style street food like okonomiyaki and takoyaki. The highlight for me personally? The A5 Wagyu beef—unreal flavor and texture. Samir also carved out time for a quick stop at one of Shibuya’s iconic malls, which was a fun surprise. We wrapped up with traditional Japanese sweets like mochi and dango. If you’re after an off-the-beaten-path food experience with a great guide and unforgettable flavors, this one’s for you.

Very hospitable and kind tour guide! Guide was very helpful, other group members got lost, he wanted for them, in the mean time he took us on “bonus tour” spots.
