Fun time . Ramen was good. The guide was great & patient. I learned to make the noodles but not the broth which I was most interested.

Amazing experience! This was our first stop once we landed. I went with my boyfriend and it was a small class. Very informative and EXTREMELY DELICIOUS! We even got a chance to blow torch chicken to char it for the ramen. Loved the experience! If you are thinking about booking do it immediately! Thank you for the amazing experience!

Very good experience, you start the noodles and prepare three ramen dishes with a different broth base. The boy who taught the class knows his subject, explains clearly and well, has opportunity with the English accent to make it a little more understandable but is very accessible and solves all doubts. The place is a little different to Japanese standard, but the preparation is clean. I recommend the experience.

Today I finally learned how to make the quintessential Tokyo comfort food—ramen—at Ramen Dojo Tokyo in Shibuya. 🍜 I’ve always wanted to experience an authentic hands-on ramen class, and this one was everything I hoped for. We learned how to make three types of ramen: chicken, pork broth, and miso pork broth. I made the noodles completely from scratch using a hand-cranked ramen roller—kind of like a pasta machine—then hand-cut them to perfection. Before cooking the ramen, we also prepared chicken chashu, which is similar to Chinese char siu (sweet roasted pork), except this version used delicous chicken thigh (momo). We rolled it into a roulade, simmered it in a soy-based dashi, and sliced it beautifully. The highlight was tasting all three ramen styles side by side—the lightness of the chicken, the intensity of the pork, and the deep, rich flavor of the miso. Having three smaller bowls kept the meal balanced and interesting, without the heaviness of a single tonkotsu bowl. At the end, we built our own ramen bowls from a topping bar that included soft-boiled egg, menma (bamboo shoots), nori, and corn—like the Sapporo style that even uses butter. The instructor, Rick-sensei, was patient, knowledgeable, and added a few fun touches, like using a blowtorch to caramelize the chashu—just like at a yakitori shop. It was a fun, cultural, and truly unique experience. The studio is a bit hidden with no exterior sign, but follow Google Maps and you’ll find it easily. Highly recommended for couples, families, or anyone who loves food and wants to learn authentic Japanese ramen-making in Tokyo. Five stars! 🌟
