The tour was wonderful. Not only because of the spectacular scenery and places visited but, above all, because of the guide, Sebastian, one of the best guides we have had in all the trips we have made. My wife and I ended the outing with a big smile on my face. Sebastian was attentive, friendly, funny, detailed and very knowledgeable about everything related to Iceland. He gave us a lot of information and many valuable tips, both to take advantage of each stop of the excursion and for our stay in the country. I was surprised that he spoke in Spanish, something I didn’t expect, as well as speaking several other languages that he mastered. But regardless of language, his character favored a relaxed and fun Mood that, I think, everyone in the group liked a lot. About the excursion itself, it is very well organized. We stopped at many places, more than other excursions on the Golden Circle I had consulted before, and with more than enough time at each stop. This is the most classic excursion from Reykjavik and the busiest, since there are also many people from cruise ships that stop at the port. But done in this way, in a small group, and so well organized, it is enjoyed as much as other more exclusive excursions. I can only recommend this Golden Circle tour of Nordur Travel. And if it's Sebastian, even better.

The van was nice and the stops were honored, but this was advertised as providing guided tours from an English speaking guide. This was not provided. The guide spoke only conversational English. While her language skills may be suitable for a shop or a restaurant, tour guide requires a level of proficiency that was clearly not met. Additionally, no guided service was provided, as was advertised in the Viator description. There was no commentary at all. About anything. I’m not even sure she introduced herself. At most stops the guide pointed in a direction and said “go where the people are going”. The pick up timing was improperly communicated, the meet up location for one stop was unclear, leaving 6 participants in the wrong spot. A typical guide would be panicked if customers were missing but the guide did not call me until I called the main office. 15 minutes past the scheduled meeting time. She often disappeared during stops, and spent a lot of time scrolling on her phone. At one point, the van went over a large bump and the passengers were jolted from their seats. Although most were fine, I was in the back, which is slanted, and my head hit the roof pretty hard. The guide did not ask if anyone was hurt. That is simply irresponsible. I am under the impression that this is not the normal guide. Had this been advertised as a DIY tour for which only transport was provided, it would have been fine. This wasn’t as advertised. Overall, it was fine. I wrote the review because managing passenger expectations will help satisfaction. As a courtesy to the company, I contacted them prior to reviewing online and they said they’d look into it internally.

The guide Kelwin was very friendly and kind! Showed us wonderful places and gave us tips on how to access the best places more easily! The tour, in Spanish, was fantastic! I recommend the tour and especially the Kelwin guide.
