Beautiful - be aware that some areas are an additional cost

3.00The Basilica is absolutely beautiful. The instructions provided on where to enter weren’t clear. Also I purchased the tickets for the tour the same day and I had a very difficult time finding the QR code needed to enter. There are areas inside that require an additional ticket that was not mentioned in the description. The pews are corded off making nearly impossible to stop to say a prayer or light a candle.

2.00The website was incredibly difficult to understand, and we never quite managed to figure it out completely. The staff at the Basilica had to retrieve the ticket authorization from our phones. The part of the Basilica we did see was absolutely beautiful. I wish we could have seen more, but we couldn’t figure out how to include everything we wanted when purchasing the tickets (or we never managed to access the ticket authorization for the rest of the site).

4.00This is just a Skip-the-Line Ticket, NOT a Guided Tour, but it was enough for our needs. The Basilica was worth visiting, very beautiful.

1.00St. Marks is a very ornate Basilica. I found it disjointed and overly detailed to the point of distraction. Also they nickle and dime you to pay to go into various areas. Its expensive to get in. Then you go in and have to pay additional fees to see different parts of the Basilica. So here's a qr code and there's a qr code to pay for entry to different areas. We spent maybe 20 minutes inside. I was seriously disappointed, and almost angry at the waste of money. Enjoy the palazzo outside. Just dont waste your money on entry fees and multiple extra fees once inside.
