Senead and Diane were awesome. Kept it chill without overwhelming the event with unnecessary chatter.

My husband and I didn't think it was worth the time or money. So unless this is pretty high on your bucket list, I would pass. You basically spend an hour and 45 minutes to get there, another hour and 45 minutes there, when it really only takes an hour to see the stones. Then about two hours on the way back due to traffic. Our guide and bus driver were great though

This tour was a perfect fit for what we wanted to do, just see Stonehenge and not spend all day on a bus. Most Stonehenge tours include other sites in the same area. The downside is you are on a bus for 8+ hours. Our half day tour was perfect! We were picked up at 7:30am and it took about 1.5 hours to get to Stonehenge. Along the way they gave us a rest break which was much appreciated. The bus did not have a restroom onboard. We arrived at Stonehenge ahead of the crowds and had about 2.5 hours to take it all in. The bus will drop you off at the Visitors Center where you will catch a shuttle to the site. It's about a 1.5 mile drive. If you have enough time and are so inclined you skip the shuttle and walk to and from the site back to the Visitor Center. There are also some interesting trails to explore in the general area. Our driver/tour guide was Gabriel and he kept us entertained on the drive there and back but did give us some "quiet time" for those that wanted to sleep or catch up on emails and social media :-). Really happy we did this tour and feel we definitely got our monies worth and still had time to do other touring in London when we arrived back about 1:30pm.

The tour operators were understanding when the underground line I was traveling on suddenly quit and I had to catch an Uber to meet the group. I was a few minutes late but they made it work, and we made up for lost time. Pleasant coach ride out. The tour manager pointed out some interesting parts as we drove out of the city. Quiet trip there. We were one of the first busses there, so we got to the stones early when not too many people were there, which was very nice. I could basically walk around the full circle and keep the stones in view without peaking through lots of people. Two hours was plenty of time to take everything in and listen to the audio tour, walk back to the Visitor’s Center (there are shuttle busses too), poke in the shop for a bit, and head back to the bus. Probably not great for kids, but for adults looking to do a low-key excursion out of London and interested in seeing Stonehenge, it was great.
