Excellent event run by friendly people who appear to genuinely be having a great time. Easy to find - well organized - and a memorable experience. Went as a family of four with two teenagers who had fun and enjoyed the sushi they made. This is a business made of people who want you to have a good time and are very good at their jobs.

  • Sushi making, the fun way

First just so you know, the class is on the seventh floor of the building and I did not pay attention to the directions before taking the class. Now to the class itself. They were so nice and interactive and I highly recommend them. Just take your time, make some sushi and have the Sake set - which was really tasty. Furthermore, the teacher was patient and explained everything step by step. Sushi might seem easy to make but once you get to it, you understand how much thought and detail go into something so delicious. Try it

Awesome time! Learnt a lot about making maki and nigiri but most importantly we had a lot of fun with the other guests. The instructor did a great job teaching us the practical skills but making sure he encouraged us as sometimes it didn’t go to plan. Best part was also eating the end project!

  • Sushi making on the Sumida River

Location is literally steps from Asakusa Station, very easy to get to. The class/dining room was nice bright with a large window overlooking the Sumida River. Class was well run by enthusiastic young people who guided you through the deceptively complicated sushi making process. And the sushi was fresh and delicious. All in all a very good experience I would recommend. As a plus, when you are done eating sushi it is about a 10 minute walk to Sensoji temple.
